InvestigAid, established in 2016, is a private investigative agency specializing in investigating abuse and exploitation of the elderly and disabled.
InvestigAid is dedicated to:
- Investigating abuse and neglect of senior persons and adults with disabilities, including those under the poverty level in the greater Los Angeles and San Francisco area.
- Facilitating public awareness of such abuse and remedy alternatives.
- Partnering directly with potential victims, for-profit legal and nonprofit legal-aid services, other elder-niche NPO/NGO and faith-based organizations in combating abuse.

Principal, Michael Ramey, has been a California licensed private investigator since 1984, as well as licensed in Oregon and Washington, specializing in insurance fraud investigation under the name of Michael Ramey & Associates, Inc (www.rameypi.com).
A native of California, Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in public administration (highest honors) at California State University Chico. He attended Golden Gate University, School of Law and St. Mary’s College of California for post-graduate work, and in spring 2016 obtained a Master of Business Administration degree at California Baptist University. Mike continues his education regarding elder abuse, employment practices, accounting and fraud claims investigative training courses and certifications. Mike is a Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and routinely updating his Continuing Professional Education.
